Definitely worth the price we paid. My son weighed about 37 pounds at the time we attempted to hike with him in it. My husband and I both were uncomfortable carrying him, but he seemed very comfy in it ? riding around eating pizza. We also used the carrier on a smaller child (about 32 pounds, maybe a little less) and that was much easier!!! We hiked for a while with the other child with ease.I liked that it has a small mesh bag that can be used as a trash can. It's very adjustable for different people to use. The pocket for a water thing is nice as well, even though it doesn't stay cold for long.
